We found this adorable Oregon wedding on Elizabeth Anne Designs blog, and we just couldn’t resist sharing this one with you! Margi and Scott f

ell in love while skiing in the mountains (how cute is that!), so they knew that they wanted their wedding to incorporate beautiful mountain scenery and all natural details. The wedding was held at the stunning Mt. Hood Organic Farms, and everything from the cupcakes to the guestbook was done by family and friends. The theme of the wedding as said by the bride and groom was “friends, family, and community.” This theme certainly came across through the amount of love that was visibly put into every last detail! Take a look at this beautiful photos from FS Photography.

It was important to the couple that they minimized their wedding’s carbon footprint, so all of the wedding decor was made with recycled and reused materials. Even the food was bought locally and organic!

Instead of a traditional guestbook, the bride had guests sign an old ski that she had refurbished- such a cute and personalized idea! We also adore the combination of the vintage style bottle vases with the purple and orange florals!

We absolutely love ampersands. For those of you who don’t know what ampersand stands for, it is a combination of the letters “e” and “t,” the Latin word “et” which stands for “and” in English. Used to formally connect names, it’s often used in weddi

designs. If you’re looking for a gorgeous design element to use on your invitation, check out this blog, no longer being updated but full of inspirations. We couldn’t resist sharing our favorites.

Inspired by the gorgeous florals that Rachel created for the Style Me Pretty shoot, we have put together an inspiration board of our favorite poppy bouquets. Poppies come in an amazing range of colors,

sizes and shapes, but it’s their paper thin

cate petals and cheerful tasseled centers that are so attractive to brides and florists alike. If you are planning a spring or summer wedding, why not consider poppies as the primary flower in your wedding bouquet?

We love the idea of couples personalizing their wedding

invitations by adding the element of illustration. Such invitations can truly convey the bride and groom’s personalities as they can be whimsical, artsy, cutesy, vintage, you-name-it! These type

s of invitations can be printed, letter pressed, or even hand drawn (if time and patience allows!) Either way, illustrated invitations will set the

tone for adorable weddings that guests will be jumping at the opportunity to attend.
