Founded and edited by a Seattle based team of two graphic and event designers who work in the wedding industry, Notes on a Wedding brings the best of the Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska wedding scene to your morning blog roll! Our goal is to introduce up-and-coming vendors, local crafters and designers and unique Northwest venues to an audience of brides and stylistas actively planning a wedding in the area.

Our venue showcase will feature a searchable directory of real weddings sorted by location and type of venue. As we build our submission base and readership, a bride will be able to compare how real couples are decorating local venues and use this blog as one more tool to make a booking decision.

Likewise, through real wedding submissions, Vendor Spotlights or “Local Pick” highlight posts, vendors will be able to market their skills and products to a viable audience of potential clients and customers.
