We’ve noticed a lot of fairytale inspired accessories around lately. Lots of bridal headpieces with lacy florals and Grecian headbands. They work with updos and loose hairdos but we think they look the most lovely with loose, relaxed curls or mess

y updos. Enchanted Atelier has a lovely 2012 collection and we keep checking back in hopes that they’ll come out with a more casual collection to go with our summer wardrobes…So tell us: what will you be wearing in your hair on your wedding day?

Bastyr University is a naturopathic medical school located in Kenmore, WA with a beautiful campus and chapel. Skye and Kevin’s April wedding, photographed by buy cialis soft online“>Victor Zerga, took place in the chapel with a portrait session in downtown Seattle before the ceremony. We love

the vibrant rust and yellow color palette – such an unusual choice for a Spring wedding and gorgeous against the bridesmaids’ charcoal one-shoulder dresses.

Skye wore a long veil for the ceremony and switched out to

a birdcage veil for the reception.

Even the sparkling wine fit in the color palette!

This wedding is from dream team collaborators – designer Steven Moore and photographer Michele M. Waite of Bellingham, WA and was featured on viagra online canadaey-ryan-part-2″ target=”_blank”>The Bride’s Cafe. The bride and groom, Ashley and Ryan are simply adorable and we love all the design elements from Steven. The choice of pink and yellow for a color scheme is a sweet one, but by using a more unusual floral palette, Steven made the flowers sophisticated and modern.

The bouquet is comprised of celosia, hydrangea, hypericum, billy balls and peonies and wrapped with grass. Simple boutonnieres of billy balls are fun and playful.

Love the ribbon wands held by the flower girls and then carried over into the

ceremony backdrop and on the bride and groom’s reception chairs.

The bridesmaid

dresses have a lovely pink peony sash which adds a pop of color to the neutral dresses.

We love it when a bride and groom goes out of their way to “shop local” when choosing their wedding vendors.  Sure, most couples hire local vendors, but how many couples use local crafters and designers to create

the wedding gown, groom’s suit and the bride’s birdcage veil?  Heidi and Jesse did all that and more when planning their hipster style Portland wedding.  Photographed by the brilliant Brandon Witzel, who truly captured the intimacy and joy of the day, this wedding was originally posted on  Green Wedding Shoes and we couldn’t resist sharing it with you guys! We were so taken with how Brandon captured the intimacy and joy of this sweet wedding!

The couple got ready for their big day together- what a sweet idea!

To coordinate with her aquamarine engagement ring, Heidi chose a knee length wedding dress of palest aqua by Portland designer Sarah Seven. She contrasted the blue with a white bolero and topped off the a birdcage veil with white feathers and coral silk flowers. A traditional pearl

necklace completed the look.

Straight out of Portlandia, the couple paraded through their neighborhood with a bike posse close behind them.

An open-air “tent” was created with rope and pom poms and cleverly held up with a cluster of yellow helium balloons. The couple continued the bike theme with a sweet bicycle stamp on their favors.
